Ab Mitte Juni bis Mitte August 2019 waren Martin Reusch und Donna Mulhearn (Die Gründer des Blue Mountains Labyrinth Bush Retreat) auf einer Pilgrimsreise in Frankreich. Sie nahmen an einer Wochenlangen Taizé Gemeinschaft teil, wanderten als Pilgrims von Paris zur Chartres Kathedrale entlang der Camino Route und besuchten Bonnevaux, das neue Internationale Heim der Weltgemeinschaft für Christliche Meditation im ehemaligen Benediktinerkloster bei Poitiers.
Es gab viele wunderbare Erfahrungen und Abenteuer auf ihrem Weg. Donna und Martin teilten diese Erlebnisse mit uns, unterwegs mit Bildern ihrer Reise, und standen für weitere Fragen zur Verfügung.
Anschließend erzählten sie noch spannend von den Erlebnissen der Buschfeuer der ihr Haus in den Blue Mountains bedroht hatte, aber von der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr gerettet wurde.

From mid-June to mid-August 2019, Martin Reusch and Donna Mulhearn (co-creators of the Blue Labyrinth Bush Retreat) embarked on a time of pilgrimage and retreat in France. They took part in week-long retreats at Taize Community and Plum Village, walked as pilgrims from Paris to Chartres Cathedral on an ancient Camino route and visited Bonnevaux, the new international home of the World Community for Christian Meditation at a historic former Benedictine Monastery near Poitiers.
There were plenty of wonderful experiences and adventures along the way. Martin and Donna shared the stories and photos from their pilgrimage and answered questions about the pilgrimage.
At the end they also told us about their Bushfire Experience when their home was threatened in the Blue Mountains, but successfully defended by the Bushfire Bridgade.
